Mountain Color

It was late afternoon as the artist was driving through a Park near Evergreen, Colorado.  The beautiful colors caught her eye and she stopped for a while to take photos. The mountains were shadowing a portion of the small valley and you could see distant mountains some in sunlight and others shadowed already. The beauty of the scene inspired her to paint.
