Watering the Garden

The artist said that, one hot summers day, she went to visit a friend who lives on a farm.  Her friend's husband was out watering his garden.  It was such an ordinary activity that there was something both inspiring and comforting about the scene. She took several photos with on her phone camera as she approached him to ask if he had any big ripe red tomatoes he was willing to share. He generously gave her  several and she "happily went home anticipating bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches for supper".
